...and made a small one for four of the middle squares in the larger one. I did draft it out on graph paper, but I threw the graph paper away already. |

This years Barn Quilt Contest's theme in the State Fair of Virginia this Fall is "Leaves." The quilt could not be more than 18" x 18" and had to be pieced, not appliqued. That really limited the choices since I've seen some really beautiful appliqued leaves, but few pieced ones.
I ended up doing a square in a square of a traditional leaf block and named it "Seasons Change." |
