I think you are doing a fantastic job....Keep up the good work.
Oooooooh, I love it! Very nice job for your 2nd time around!
Your stitches look real consistent. I wish mine did. Sometimes I think I'm running in the Indy 500 when I FMQ. But when all is said and done, I'm usually pretty happy.
Nice work. You'll be whipping out FMQ feathers before you know it. |
I think you are doing really well. I mostly have to do the squiggles as I am still learing and have not ventured out into what you are doing. Great Job girl!
Outstanding!
That came out great and gives me the courage to try it. I really like the variagated thread and the heart design.

Great job, nice stitches, evenly spaced.

Great job. I'm going to do my second fmq this weekend and will only meander. I find that difficult enough....lol

Your quilt..and quilting are beautiful! You give me hope!
I am still in the practicing stages.. hopefully someday it will come to me .. keep up the good work ! |
I feel the same way. I fmq my 1st quilt also with a domestic. I was pretty satisfied. I think maybe my next one I might quilt in sections, I think that might be a little easier. My next quilt is like king size. I think practice make perfect. :):):)
You did a great job.
You're doing a great job on your DSM. She makes it look easy to do on her LA. Thanks for sharing. Eiltcoq.
What a lovely quilt...doing great job.
since you are using your domestic machine, i suggest you mark the design to get it consistent. It is difficult on the domestic as you can't see a large area. Long arms are different as you do see large areas and can guage. So go to the marking and eventually you will be able to get the rhythm to do larger overall patterns. Also, not knowing how your sewing area is set up, suggest you add card tables so you can spread out the quilt more and thereby able to see large areas.

Keep up the good work, isn't free motion quilting fun? and the tuts on you tube are so helpful, keeps me inspired to do more - always practicing... ;-)
