I hadn't sewed in 25 years, but got back into quilting a few months ago. This is my second project, I wasn't crazy about the colors in my first quilt. This pattern is "Sunny Days" by Darlene Zimmerman, but I made the blocks 9.5" instead of 6.5" so the fabrics would be seen better (and no tiny triangle squares!). I can't wait to finish it and see it quilted!

Very pretty colors and I do like them in the bigger size. This is cheerful and bright and is pleasing to the eye. Look forward to seeing this done. Thank you for sharing.

I love your fabrics! I also went back to quilting after a 25+yr layoff, it's amazing what you remember. And it's lots more fun this time around, I've left most of the perfectionism compulsion behind!

Thank you! Yes, it's all 30's fabrics. I've got the bug again, I have the fabric for 4 more quilts after this one, so I'll be cranking them out fairly quickly. I stopped sewing after my son was born because he always wanted to sit on my lap when I sewed and I was afraid he'd get hurt. Now the cat does it, some things never change.
