and everyone, i have to tell you...the fabric wrapping is a beautiful print, the lace ribbon ... oh my i can not describe how beautiful it is!
the pin cushion is all hand embroidered, pieced, has a needle keeper and a pocket on one side and my initials on the front along with the date and the sqa...it is BEAUTIFUL! and being a person who LOVES working in wools and crazy quilts...these gifts could not have (fit-me) better :thumbup:

Oh Colleen I am so happy you like everything I sent. I couldn't believe I was able to find everything that matched. I was going to look through the cookbook to see the recipes but i didn't want it to look like it was looked at. If there is anything that looks good to cook let me know. I thought the return addy lables were so adorable with the vintage sewing machine I got some for myself. It was so much fun sending you stuff all year long and I wanted you to have a rememberance of it. What better way then to have it embroidered on a crazy quilt. The peach doesn't look like a peach but I tried. Now that you know I was your SQA I hope we will become freinds for that was what SQA was all about.

my reveal package is a little one. On its way to California. All you girls/gals in California watch for a package from Michigan.

is it the 18th yet? I have a few packages under the tree from my angel but I'm not allowed to open until then...I see them every night, staring at me and calling me to open them! I hope I can keep the willpower strong to not open them! But it's so hard!!! Oh the temptation!!!

Ckcowl was not going to be able to be in chat for reveal. I told Ckcowl she could open it when she recieved it.

I wont be in the chat for the reveal. I will be sending a note with my final package to let my angelee know who I am.

The note that my angel sent with my package says "Do not open until Dec. 18th" and I believe the chat is on the 16th.

he he he- I figured out my SQA a while ago. I revealed to her who she is- and- I guessed right. :)

I now have a good friend for eons to come.

(Aren't you glad you didn't have me for your SQA- maybe I border on stalking or maybe I just watch too much CSI and detective shows)

Since SQA is almost over that is a fun thread. After Christmas the girls want to go on a vacation. Check it out. This week we are going to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in NY.

Thank you to my SQA, she sent me two wonderful packages! One was thanksgiving themed, and the other was a wonderful Christmas package from Bear Paw Quilting with a table runner pattern. I used one of the fabrics for a table runner I am going to sell, it worked wonderfully. I have been short of christmas fabric, so it came just in time!

I love the pun kin pie candle, it is great :) You pick really good gifts, whoever you are!!

My final package of goodies is going out in the mail tomorrow.

I won't be able to make the chat/reveal, so I put my true identity in the box :thumbup:

I have the all time best SQA!!! (in my humble opinion!!!) I received a wonderful Thanksgiving pakage from her day before yesterday. (Sorry it took me so long to post...Long days...LOL)I love my gifts. A chocolate Turkey with some candy corns...YUM YUM YUM...A darling Thanksgiving Hot pad...and a WONDERFUL glass candle holder with a vanilla scented candle...That says...."Peace on the outside comes from knowing God within" It has butterflies on it and is just beautiful!!!! I love everything and I am very blessed to have such a wonderful SQA!!!!! Thank You!!!! Thank You!!! Thank You!!!!!!!!!

My angel has been, well, an angel this year! So many lovely and thoughtful packages and notes. She spoiled me rotten. My mail dude had another package today. Look at all the goodies. I've already burned the candles (they smell so good and have wooden wicks. The kids are enthralled) and I plan to play with all those fun selvages tomorrow. My angel sent me a bag stuffed with fun ones! And I do love notebooks. The smaller one is already in service with my Turkey Day menu and notes.

I love all the FQ, and 2 thimbles! I know there were other nice things, can't think what they are, not awake yet, need to finish my coffee. I will try to make it to the reveal chat but not sure if I will be able.

here is what i just received today. i know your name now but i still don't know your id on line. it says not to open till dec. 16th, do you realize that's 22 more days! how can an old woman of 74 contain herself for 22 days, i may not even live for 22 more days. lol but i promise i will resist till dec. 16th. and i'll take pics of the contents on that day and post. i'll try to be in the chat that evening, but i don't promise. you have sent such wonderful things all year long, it has been a real pleasure to have taken part in this sqa all this year. it's been something to look forward to every day just reading all the posts and looking at all the pictures. i've truly enjoyed it all. if i hid it, i'de forget where i hid it and never see it again, lol. i've done other things that way, put something up and forget where i put it. so i'm gonna leave this out in plain sight, not gonna take a chance, ha ha.
