Lookie what I got yesterday from my SQA!!!
I won't reveal who she is just yet, but she did sign her name on the card. I thought it was being delivered for my birthday, but nope! Just brightened my day when I took them from the man at the door and read the card. |

Finally here are the lovely flowers my sweet SQA, Laverne, sent me for Thanksgiving. Sorry no picture of the 10" pie, by time the kids brought over to me at dinner... there were pieces missing. :thumbup:

I unfortunately will not be able to make it to the chat as of right now for the big reveal. I did reveal myself in my last gift and wrote on it that it is not to be opened until the 16th!

Received this afternoon a box from my SQA.
Barbara Zang sent every month a nice envelope - each of them with creative contents. I realize she had to put some thinking as how to please someone without knowing much about my tastes or culture. Every package you sent made me happy, Barbara. Thank you ! PS: Is SQA over ??? LOL |

I came home today from a very hard day at work and OMG I had a big box from my dear sweet Angel!!!!! It also had in big letters to open immediatly!!! Did I?? Oh Yeah!!

Still haven't mailed my final package (life sometimes gets in the way of fun--I HATE THAT!), but it will be in the mail soon, and I'll be online for the big reveal.

I got a box today from my SQA. It did not say "Do not open unti the 16th", so I opened it. I just want to say how very blessed I am to have had such a wonderful SQA. Since I do not have a camera, I will list what my blessings are:
A little recipe book named "The Best of FAVORITE RECIPES FROM QUILTERS" " PIES" by Louise Stoltzfus. It has some very yummmy recipies in it. A book named "The Winding Ways Quilt" by Jennifer Chiaverini. I love her writtings... Two book markers....Gotta keep those pages marked....LOL A WONDERFUL little quilted purse, that had the PIES book, and 2 wonderful white hand towels with "Happy Holidays" embroidried in red and holly in green and red....They are for the kitchen, but I will use them in my bathroom.... A really cute quilters mouse pad....Designed by Rebecca Barker.....It is really darling.... And last but certainly not least...and my favorite of all....A set of pre-stamped pillow cases with Praying Hands and Flowers to embroidery.....I have always wanted these. I can't wait to embroidery them and put them on my bed.... So I am sending the BIGGGGGGESSSSSSSST THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! possible for being such a wonderful blessing to me all year!! toooooooooooo.....(drum roll please) LOL....Gerri.....The redquilter.....and as your XMAS card says" Warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful holiday and a very Happy New Year" to you and yours....May your blessings be overflowing.....and May the good Lord keep you safe in the palm of his hands, always!! |

my package for my angelee is in the mail as of this afternoon....should be arriving a few days before reveal date.
hope she enjoys what I sent to her......not too quilty for the final package.....just somthing different....... merry Christmas everyone........and a happy new year, too..... |
In my mailbox today was a card that I had to go to the big Post Office top sign for a package. Yay! Know what it was? Yup, you guessed it, a package from my Angel! I'm nnot going to open it until the reveal chat, but I do know who my angel is and where she is from. All I can say is Thank you, Angel, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I have enjoyed every package from you and all your support and friendship. I am excited to see what is in the box, but I will wait, because I know it will be FABULOUS, just like you!

I received a package from my Secret Quilt Angel Dojo36! Thank you so much. Sorry I havn't been on to put up pictures. I received a beautiful cloth basket with some awesome embroidery work on it plus a tissue holder for my purse, some yummy hot cocoa and some candy canes (which didn't make it into the picture, lol ~yummy~!!). My husband was so surprised when he received a B'day card. Thank you!! And thank you for the lovely Christmas card!

Sent my angel her reveal gift, but haven't mailed her Christmas goodies yet.......
My daughter has to have surgery to remove a disc in her neck. This is an injury from the car accident we were in this past July. I have been literally "on the run" since the moment my plane touched the ground on Nov 21st. Looks to be a complicated holiday this year. No big decorating, just the tree and outside lights that the men can do. Can't wait till my DH arrives on the 20th so he can do some of the running and babysitting. I have forgotten how much laundry 3 little kids can make... washing everyday! :lol: :thumbup: :thumbup: |
