Thank you Secret Quilt Angel, Lisa, A.K.A Quilt Addict, for the huge box of stuff that you sent me today. I'ts really cool. I got a box full of 13 presents. One said open right away, the rest are numbered and have dates on them. I got to open the Santa bag today, but have to wait to Christmas to open the next one, then one on December 26th, and one a day there after! I will be celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas!! Whoo-hoo! Today's gift was a lovely dish towel with a snowman and an angel ornadment for the tree. I need to find a picture to add to it first.

What fun - a very clever idea!

I received my SQA package today. My SQA is Quiltingbee12. Thank you so much. She sent me a puzzle in a beautiful Christmas tin, a cute Christmas bag she made for me, some beautiful quilt squares, a tissue holder, some candles, a book called A Country Christmas by Eleanor Burns, some chocolate-ate that already, some cute coasters, and a spool of thread. I will try to post pictures tomorrow. I'm trying to get some Christmas gifts finished.

How cool is that? My gosh you will be in hog heaven into the new year, huh?

I really want to be able to thank you with a personal note instead of on this thread. It's the right thing to do - but I need your help. Who are you???? Please! I'll be your best friend! :)

Yesterday I was sitting at dinner with my son and his family, our daughters and our moms. The mailman pulled up, knocked at the door and handed DH a box. The box was from my Secret Angel Dawn Hendrix. She sent me a beautiful table runner that she made and some delicious cookies. I was lucky to get a picture of the homemade cookies before they were completely gone. My family loves these cookies. Thank you Dawn for all of the wonderful gifts you have sent to me all year long. You have been a blessing in my life and I am hoping that we will be friends for a long time. My family said thanks for the cookies, and the greedy bunch want to know how to get some more of them.

I hope you all have a safe holiday season and all of your wishes are coming true. The Secret Quilt Angel swap has been a great experience for me and it has been a pleasure to watch and experience the great gift giving all year long.

The Christmas tree and star are made from fat quarters, I received them earlier this month and promised a picture of them. They are very clever.

Got a beautiful thank you card and Christmas card from Redgo243. I love them both. I am so glad you enjoyed all the pressies I sent you thru-out the year. I really enjoyed putting them together each time.

Found the camera out and took a few pictures......of the gifts from my angel, Karielt

First picture....a "TO GO" coffee mug and an "AT HOME" mug,
a FQ of red & white fabric, an adorable snowman figure, a darling angel to hang from my tree, a CD of Natalie Cole with the Tabernacle Choir, and a beautiful card introducing herself to me.....

Second picture..a crafty carry-all tote, a catch-all for over the arm of a chair, two handmade dish cloths, a package of large brass basting pins, a journal for me to keep all the things I want to be able to recall.....(at a moments notice), a wonderful little purse that will accommodate all my necessities and a bag of Milano cookies.....baked in her hometown.

Third picture.......and last, but surely not the least...at this time, a half eaten chocolate Utah Truffle

So my Angelee was Linda Parshal .. she sent me the most WONDERFUL thank you box of goodies. OO I am so blessed to have gotten to know her. I am one hundred percent sure she and I will be friends forever just because we both have this quirky personality and we understand each other.... here is a picture of my goodies.. It all was in a GORGEOUS Red fabric box... fats, a sign, oven mitt, hand towells, truffles, a gc to joanns , a tape measure and a WONDEFUL pattern and ruler, socks , gloves, Hook n Lop tape in 4 different colors, note pads and a wonderful Christmas Card thanking me for taking care of her all year! Thank you so much K-White for giving me LINDA PARSHAL.. thanks to Kwhite I now have a life long quilting friend!

I guess I am not the only one who does not know who her SQA was. I have not heard from mine since June or July. Hope she is in good health and all is going good for her tho. The most fun of this year's SQA was in the giving tho and seeing everyone enjoy their surprises as they received them. I know I loved finding new things to pack in my boxes to be sent out. Happy New Year everyone.

I agree - I had such great fun choosing gifts for my angelee. My angel took extra special care of me, right up until last week, witha luscious box of truffles, this after having sent a fabulous individual electric pie maker for Christmas, so no complaints there - just wish I knew who to properly thank.

I found out who my SQA was :D It was JRSAY.

Thank you JRSAY for the goodies and for being my SQA in the end. Love the fabrics, and the slipper pattern and patterns are cool. Thank you for the book for Eiley, she loves it! Those hand warmers are nice, as I have been having trouble with my hands getting cold.
