I was worried about my Serina....and now I am even more so. I got an envelope from an "SQA helper" which tells me that my Serina is sick. I hope it isn't serious and that you are better soon! But thank you "helper" for sending it...I haven't opened and won't until tomorrow. I'm still planning on seeing you guys tomorrow in chat!

A box arrived from my SQA! A delightful collection of fun things
- a very nice table runner in bright holiday colours, very nicely fmq'd;
- beautiful earrings handmade by my angel;
- a very cute snowman decoration AND a 'happy harvest' hanger (love everything autumn);
- a very nice notepad with a 2011 calendar - perfect for grocery lists;
- an Angel bookmark;
- and a gorgeous little collection of sweet fat quarters.

I shipped the final package to my Angelee Monday. She should have gotten it today. I hope she likes it. I wish I could have done more. She won't be in chat tomorrow night and I probably won't either. I haven't got anything from my SQA yet either. She said it would be late. Thanks for everything.

IT IS THE 16TH!!!!!! Now I want to say here and now that I have trouble with chat for some reason. I can usually get on but sometimes I am not there long before I get booted out and connot get back in, so if I start things up and just seem to GO AWAY. It is nothing personal. Just chat being fussy with me.

Turns out I won't be able to make it to chat. I know it's only 15 minutes away but my brother called and wants to go to dinner. He is only in town till tomorrow. I don't know when I will get to see him again. He has to go back to his base (in Colorado). He was on deployment in Afghanistan.

Thank you Serina...aka Leota! I just have to show a pic of this huge pile that Leota sent. She sent me something related to all of the 12 days of Christmas. DH was amazed...he kept saying...gosh..that took a ton of time and care! I agree with him. She started with the Partridge (which says SS 2010 on the bottom) and a couple of pear both frizzlers for the 1st day of Christmas and went from there...she sent me lots of fabric..and she made me a sparkly Christmas apron, a needle holder (such a cute cat), include some christmas socks and some gloves to use for FMQ. A scented candle, candies, tree ornaments, chocolate, 2 CD's of some music that will be great to quilt with, a puzzle, playing cards and thenher helper, trupeach made me a pincushion and sent some charms. Oh, and then she also sent me the stuff from Nov. that she forgot...its also very cute! Wow...Leota...thank you for being such a great angel all year...now..how do I save those daffodils until next year?

I got a really nice PM from my angelee yesterday. If she can't post pics, I will of the last box I sent her.

I was totally blown away by the wonderful reveal box sent by Barb M. There was candy made by a local candy company, a beautiful scarf made by her dil, fabric, and so much more. If I didn't know better I would think she had talked to my dh. He asked what I wanted for Christmas and I said fuzzy footies. Yes, she sent some. Also, he asked me yesterday, what I was planning on making over my Christmas break. I told him, a bowtucks bag, if I could find the pattern. Well, I found it in the box. Thank you, thank you, thank you Barb for being so generous to me.

I love everything. The quilt is absolutely gorgeous and I have never ever had a quilt made just for me :D love it forever.
The unwrapped packages are for my DDs and DGD. DH unwrapped his. I have been soo blessed this year.... Thank you Magnolia for being the bestest SQA

OMG!!! My wonderful angel, sewjoyce, really did it!!!!!!She gave me so many thoughtful gifts and I love every single one of them!! Thankyou so much Joyce! My favorite color of fabric, pink! Wonderful towels with embodery on them and a dish wash rag, too pretty to use I might add! Santa shears, two sizes. A brag book for photos, a quilt journal for my quilts, a calender reminder book with some of the most fantastic quilt pics Iv'e ever seen! Two purse patterns that are cute as all get out!! A candle, a stocking, an angel, a beautiful lace snowflake, beautiful lace angel earrings and another set of angel earrings with blue stones, and a thimble keychain! I suspect that she made the lace snowflake and the earrings. She has sent me other lace items throughout the year and they are all gorgeous!! Thanks again and again, wish I could hug you!!! You made my C-mas very special sewjoyce!!!!!!!!! And I love and treasure the wonderful letter you sent me also!

Karen, you are most welcome! We loved doing this. Much thanks to OdessaQuilts for doing so much to make this happen. She's an absolute angel. In fact, she was my angel this year, which I didn't know until last night.

This was a wonderful swap; great fun to send presents to my Angelee and get surprises from Angel. I plan to stay in touch with both of them.

There are many Barb's on the board, it's not hard to add a space and I become Barb M. Although, she's really talented so I wouldn't mind being mixed up with her. :)

Oh- the hand cream and lip balm are also locally made. My friends have a daughter with microencephaly and the funds from the sale of the creams, etc. go to their group. The kids also package the soaps and creams for delivery. They are all natural. I love them and have even bought the natural dog shampoos. They are online too.

Glad you enjoyed your package. Had a hard time trying to fit everything in there!
