I also have a package to go out Tuesday. May just went too fast and apparently I went too slow. It appears there were several of us in the same boat this month. It wasn't that I didn't think of my anglee. I think of her everytime I shop and am on constant lookout for that special little something.

I would like my Anglee to know that it gives me such pleasure and enjoyment to shop for items to send her. I don't know about everyone else, but I find myself frequently thinking about and purchasing items for months ahead.

I just have to say another thank you to my SQA Meme. I LOVE the Swedish Fish. I am limiting myself to one at a time and not more than 3 a day. I have been counting calories and each little fish is 25 calories and they are worth every chew.

I also am to slow or May went to fast,so a parcel will be in the mail soon with something for May and June.

It's my birthday and I received two lovely packages from my SQA! She spoils me! Look at all the pretty fabrics! The Amish pattern book is so neat. The jewelry was in the pretty heart tin and of course some candy for the kiddos! Thank you my angel. You are so sweet to me.

The card was a hoot! On the front it says "Don't hang around bars or casinos or other disrespectful places on your birthday!" Inside it says "Go inside!" Does my angel know me or what?!

You know when you go to the mailbox and all there is...is annoying medical bills, house bills, credit card bills, credit card promotions, and junk. Well yesterday I came home thinking I'd have 2 more medical bills in the mail box. I opened it up and sitting very quaintly all by its self with the rays of sunshine coming up through the holes at the bottom of my mailbox was a letter sent from heaven. I carefully glided it out of the box cradling it in my hand. I joyfully walked up my steps to my porch sat on my swing and relaxed. I pulled at the puffed out corners as it effortlessly pulled open. There right before my eyes was an exquisite card of flowers peeking through. Excitedly I drew out the vibrant card and there before my eyes was the most loving heartfelt note and cute little poem to bring the vibrant sunshine into my day. “But wait”… there is something else that brought a tear to my eye a block for June. A sailboat to take me away from my problems and life for just a few moments.

Yesterday I was sitting in my reclner moping. I couldn't get on the Net because the storm on Monday 'burned' up the receiver box (not fixed until today three days later) and I was not up to sewing because I royally goofed up my tablerunner for my partner which is now late, and so I was sitting and watching a movie.

DH came in the door with the mail and a box. I thought, "Oh goody. The pully came for my garden tractor so now we can fix it and I can go mow the lawn (5 acres worth). But gosh, that's a big box for such a little pully". He went in the kitchen and came right back out smiling sweetly and handed me the box.

Wouldn't ya know it! My dear sweet SQA came through and saved the day again. Best thing is I wasn't expecting anything after the lovely box with so many goodies she sent last time.

Wowee, what a great surprise. I will post pics later.

I got a beautiful card from my SQA today, and in it was this block for the month of May. She has sent me one every month, what a wonderful quilt I will have :-D
This one is called Rachel's Angel Block, and it is wonderful. Look at all the detail, the bow in here hair, and the bow on her dress with the gems on it. it is just wonderful! She also sent me the pattern, so here it is to share with all of you.

I received a wonderful gift from my Angel the other day. Sorry I have taken a few days to post. I love it. The fabric is beautiful and the pattern is perfect. My Angel is so good to me. I really appreciate her immensely.

Can I just tell you how wonderful my SQA "Anna" is?? May has been so hectic with graduation, work etc...I was bone tired today--sat outside listening to my 1st grader read at his school in 90 degree heat.

I pulled up to the house and there in front of me was the most wonderful package....I"ll keep the contents secret for now but wait until you see the delightful goodies I got--the absolute best are the handmade gifts...they are lovely. Thank you SQA--once again, you made my week :thumbup:

The most lovely gifts! I opened the box to find a great wine box....such a pretty thing that will grace my sewing room! Inside was the most fantastic table runner, along with a Quick Quilts mag and a BEAUTIFUL card! William was as impressed and as touched as I was! We both thank you ANGEL!!!! ~HUG~
