There are patterns you can find that show the use of the salveges. There's even one person on the internet that made a cute sundress.

Well, I am gathering lots of goodies for my angelee.. :D I hope she like them.... The reason I wonder is because I DO have food allergies...I am very ALLERGIC to artificial sweetners.... I can't have sugar free stuff.... aw shucks,... I have to have the real stuff ;D

I, on the other hand, am allergic to all nuts EXCEPT peanuts..and i just love chocolate and peanut butter! and chocolate and mint, and chocolate and caramel/toffee...infact...those three ways are the only way I will each chocolate (oh, also if it has a creamy fruit filling like orange, strawberry, cherry, raspberry, or lemon/lime). Otherwise, I don't really eat chocolate...don't like it on its own..Im a weird woman LOL

I say error on the side of sending it, and then if your Angelee has restrictions that prevent her from eating it, she can find someone else to bless with it. If I happen to be your Angelee, I have no dietary restrictions, so send away. (I'll have to count the points, since I am on Weight Watchers though.)

2 days ago I received a wonder pressie I posted about signed SQA, today I received another pressie signed SQA, different handwritting through. I WONDER why????????????. Thank you todays angel. I received a card with a great saying along with a bookmark, I never have a bookmark I always use a scrap of paper to mark my page. And last but not least a quilt block a day calendar how great is that 365 different block patterns, think about it if I would complete a block a day to go alone with my calender what a wonderful quilt I would have at the end of the years. OHHHHHHHHHH......... to dream of all the quilts to come.

I'll be glad to save salvages and forward them on -- just pm an address and let me know how wide you need them and if you have a minimum length. I hate wasting any fabric, especially if someone can find a use for it.

Well, just look at what I got from my SQA -- she is the bestest and most thoughtful angel ever!! She sent a 2 year planner (boy do I ever need that), a scrappy quilt pattern, a tablerunner pattern, a Sweet Treat Bag KIT with all the strips cut and ready to go AND 2 blocks she paper pieced. She also sent me several different fabrics as well as directions (and a challenge) to learn paper piecing. This is the incentive that I've been waiting for -- just push me off the edge there (LOL). And I LOVE it all!! :D :D :D

very nice angel that you have there! i am very jealous. have fun paper piecing and putting together all of those projects. actually paper piecing is kinda fun once you get the hang of it. i'm working on the new york beauty block right now for my guild block-need to finish it before Monday!!! my anglee doesn't post much. She mentioned a package but not any pictures..I have sent quite a bit but don't know if she is getting it. So please post a picture once in a while and tell in detail what you get

Don't be too harsh on your angelee that she hasn't posted pictures. Speaking for myself, I don't have a digital camera, but I have received the most gorgeous gifts and did post my heartfelt thanks and explain the camera situation. I hope my dear angel isn't upset with me. That said, my daughter came by today and took pics with her camera, but didn't have the wire to connect to my computer, so she'll email them to me and then I can finally post. I'm sure your angelee feels just as badly as I do if she's unable to post pics. I know how everyone loves pictures - I do too. In fact, that's the first thing I look for.

Oh - I just re-read your comments and see that your angelee hasn't even acknowledged receipt of several of your packages. Now, that's a different story! Other than a major crisis, there's no excuse for that.

i GOT A PACKAGE FROM MY ANGEL WITH A WONDERFUL CARD AND FABRIC SQUARES. i THOUGHT THAT i HAD NOT SIGNED UP, SO iT WAS A SUPRISE. i HAD OFFERED TO "ANGEL FOR AN aNGEL THAT DROPPED OUT AND THAT OFFER STANDS.
However, I did not get the information so that I could send to my person. I have had more than my share of family health problems in the past few months. My granddaughter (15 monthes old) is on my lap now Cause she has a bad cold and is more comfortable there. Later I will go visit my husband in ICU.

For those who are sending to the areas with snow and ice or flooding, your packages could be delayed. You may want to send earlier than you were planning both for the sender and the receiver.
Our PO did not deliver today and may not be out Monday.
Something to think about.
