Thank you SQA for the card, it's nice knowing someone is thinking of me. I have been busy finishing up several projects...and now I finally get a chance to work on my table topper. Can't wait to post a picture so you can see it finished. I love it...thanks again.

I got the biggest surprize yesterday!!!! We opened the mailbox and DH handed me a package. I thought..hmmmm...I don't remember ordering anything, but.....then I saw that it was from "Serena Quiliana Annjel!!!! Isn't that the cutest name???? Anyway...it was a super great Mother's Day gift complete with a card!!! I have to admit that its the 1st Mother's Day card I've ever recieved!!! (My fur babies aren't too good at shopping :lol: ) I was pretty excited about the card all by itself, but that wasn't enough!! She sent me 2 HUGE pieces of fabric- blue/yellow/white (just lovely), a really cute little scratch pad, some Udder cream (I love that stuff!) and the most unusual soap that I've ever seen! Its soap petals that are shaped like..you guessed it...flower petals...they are almost too pretty to use!

Everyone is getting such wonderful gifts. I know I get so much pleasure shopping for my angelee and I sure hope she likes her goodies cause I sure have fun shopping for and finding them for her.

Myrna...you're right, the fabric is unusual..I hadn't seen anything like it before either. It had "Kitty and the Muse" printed on the selvage of both pieces. It almost looks tie dyed under the print. Its very very cool!

I got a very lovely package from my SQA for mother's day! Another angel/fairy for the garden, pretty new scissors (which I was eyeing last month at joAnn's!), 2 motorcycles for my boys (which they loved!) and another block for my mystery quilt (this one is november Turkey tracks i think). Thank you so much!!!!!!

I just wanted to say that my angel and angelee had a wonderful Mother's Day, sorry it's taken me so long to say this, but we had some computer problems.

Thank you Angel for the very pretty Mother's Day card. Got it yesterday and it brightened my day. My kids call instead of sending cards now. Daughter and special friend sent me a dozen roses. The first any of them have ever sent me. I was so surprise I cried. They are gorgeous. Two of my boys went to dinner with us and told me they love me. They don't say that often, even though we are quite close. (I raised 3 boys by myself for 12 years alone.) Haven't heard from 3rd son yet but lol he is always late.

Just a quick update on Chrickette. She came thru the surgery good. Kept getting stronger each day and then last week started having pains at top of right leg by groin area. Kind of in joint. Has had nerves waking up and tingling in both legs, etc and thought it was caused by that. Then after a few days she started having bad headaches. Went to the doctor Monday and he gave her meds for the leg problem and said headaches were because her spine was leaking. He said her incision from surgery was healing great and all looked great in tests. Gavbe her more meds for the leaking in spine and put her to bed flat on her back for 3-4 days for it to heal and that should stop the headaches. She can only get up to go to bathroom and then right back down on back. She has to roll over on side to eat and then back on her back. She said headaches are alot better tho and pain in leg is about gone. She has still been unable to sit and get on computer but I sit and read her all your nice comments and words about prayers going out for her and it thrilled her. She said to tell everyone hi and will be back on here as soon as she is able and to thank everyone for their prayers and kind words. Tomorrow is our local quilt guild meeting and won't know how to act without her there with me. Going to take some of her quilts and table toppers that she made before her surgery with me for show and tell for her tho. Gotta get her well and back to normal before our next fall retreat. Ok Finally posting pics of my mothers day goods from my awesome angel, I have to say the just looking at the card almost made me cry ;) I got some more great patterns some thread, kitchen towels(which I need since mine always seem to disappear), and kitchen soap and air freshner!!

Oh look what was by y front door when I got home from the post office a little while ago!! A left-handed Martelli rotary cutter (she must have seen me struggling with the regular rotary cutters.....lol) and a quilt pattern called Ribbon Dancer which I absolutely love!! Thank you so much my sweet SQA! You are wonderful to me!!!

I got a surprise pkg, that I'll bet is from my angel. It came in Monday's mail. It makes is smile! I'd been looking into a nice compact little nail file kit, and walla, here it is, and in such nice girl colors too.

The socks are ME. When I worked in the operating room, we had to wear the same colors every day, and everybody wore the same. So I became "individual" with my snazzy socks and colorful hats. I have continued the sock tradition on! I wore them to work today!

Then the udder eze hand cream is the BEST. My hands are dry, from washing so often and also the day climate. So this is perfect - especially the convenient size.

You couldn't have chosen better. THank you! You are so good to me!

I got a box from UPS air....It was supposed to be a lovely pink orchid...in a cute pink and white pot....but it got all broke up in transit.....I called the no# on the box and gave them the order number and there will be a new one here the 19th......I do have a root with leaves so maybe it will grow....oh yes there was a card that said happy spring time from your SQA

Angel I got your package. WOW!!!! I took pics last night, I will try to post them in the next couple of days for all of you to see. I wasn't able to get pics of the candy, the kids took off with it lol.
The post office ripped the package and put it in a plastic bag, then the mail man crammed it in my box ripping the plastic. I am not sure if anything is missing, but if I see that man walking around with a home made purse I will know he took some of it home lol.
Everything is just awesome. Maybe after Tball I can post the pics- I will try, if not then soon.

Hi all I have been remiss to post my gifts from my PINK ANGEL (whoever that is). I am enclosing a photo of two separate squishies sent. The magazine way cool and pattern for a bear (cute,cute,cute). Came while was away from home for two weeks. Thanks a booodle. Plus today I got another squishable. The Fabric Ta da awesome I love it. thanks you are so super to me, I've never had and Angel before. How do you become a "Secret Quilt Angel"?

We all signed up fo it last Aug. Sept. and we were given our angels info. We are doing this for a year so this will end in Dec 10. There are other groups starting secret angels.. look under swaps on the home page.
