Your squishie arrived here Friday, sorry I haven't posted sooner, we are in the process of remodeling a bathroom,so it was a crazy weekend here. The only fireworks were when DH and I had to pick out tile for the floor together :roll: We compromised on a nice dark brown, my choice ;-) Glad the weather is nice there, we are in the middle of the heat. In the 90's every day. So, I am staying in and working on by Buggy Wheel quilt. Sadly, I have to omit that the quilting is going slow on the Navy and White, but I am getting there, making myself do a few stitches every day.
I love my FQ, what cute and fun prints !! And I love the dish towel. I am so hard on mine, and I will try to keep this one nice, so when company comes, I have something decent to put out. LOL. Getting your letter was wonderful, love hearing what you are doing, and the trip in July sounds wonderful, know the baby quilt will be a hit. Well, guess I should close, don't know if I am supposed to write a letter in here :lol: :lol:

My Dear Francis, I had a wonderful weekend at the river. Lots of good food, tubing, kayaking and just laying around. I don;t have internet when we are at the cottage. So it is a real vacation for the brain. But I'm back now and looking forward to your package. Kathi

Thank you to all for your prayers and support. I went to the doc yesterday and aside from getting a B-12 shot things look good. I am still weak so I will not be going back to work till the 27th however it would be great to have my sewing machine back from the shop :(! So I will revel in magazines and fabric for now and enjoy watching all of the angelees receive their wonderful gifts!

Well then I guess i willl look and see if one comes to my house.

Thanx to my SQA!!! look at the cute cat pillow form (could also be a doorstop), some great fabric! seam ripper, and some sparkly and bright rick rack! I think I may have to use some of this on my DQ for JULY,Oh yeah and an awesome ribbon just for me! :mrgreen:

Oh Secret Angel!!!! You did it again! You really outdid yourself! I was thrilled to open up this box for July 4th! It had all the plates/napkins/bbq apron/cups/bowls etc for my bbq with my family! (it came that friday! Perfect!) My boys LOVED the Toy Story candy! And I'm in love with the fabric and magazine you sent! It has been a crazy week this week, or I'd have posted already! Hello SQA. I wanted to thank you for the card I got yesterday. My DH went up the drive to get the mail, came in the house with the funky smile he gets, walks over to me and hands me the card and says, "looks like somebody is thinking of you!" Sometimes I think he enjoys this more than me.

I just wanted to pop in and say thank you to a great Angel!!! I got a great gift yesterday! And so did my girls!! I received some beautiful green batik fabric, a paper piecing how to disc, a holder for my rotary cutter, the smallest, cutest sewing kit and the girls got the nicest little pictures that are a colour by number with pencil crayons!! They have already been opened and started!!! Thank you so much! I will hopefuly post a picture in the next day or two when I have more time off!!! I just want to really thank you for thinking of my girls so much! It really means a lot to me!!! :thumbup: They now get just as excited when I get the mail as I do!!!!

Here's a pic of back deck. I've been known to snuggle under a blankie and listen to and watch teh rain come down. So relaxing.

Other then the four pissed off kids the wedding went well. The runner was for the wedding the week prior. We had three in a row but the third was canceled a week ahead. The bride and groom I made the runner for loved it. Thank you. I made my brother curtains for his home for his wedding gift. I am waiting to see pictures of them too. Boy were they heavy. Pretty fabric though.

Oh dear - my angel must think I have terrible manners - but wait! There's a reason I haven't thanked you for my gift. The envelope was delivered to my neighbor instead of me, and he was away for 2 weeks, so I just got it from him this morning. I apologize. You find the most amazing, interesting and different things. I received a set of 9 handpainted batik squares. They are fabulous - I've never seen anything like them. (sorry, still no camera and my daughter is away. When she returns I'll have her photograph them because I want everyone to see them) There was also a nifty bookmark and some postage stamps. Everyone needs those and I thought that was a great idea. As always, you come up with generous and unique gifts. You are truly special and I thank you very much. Love you!
