I too love my SQA Lula and her gifts and hearing from her. I also get to drop her direct notes too because she set up a special email add'y for keeping in touch. I'm a bit slow on that sometimes, like right now. I also love sending stuff and seeing replies from my Angelee -- oops her name almost dropped onto the keyboard from my fingers. :)

My question wasn't asked because I wanted y'all to reveal who your Angelee is, if you know. And I certainly don't want to spoil your fun if thinking about this would do so. I guess I'm just curious about my Lula. How can I help it? I love reading mystery novels and trying to figure out who done it. Based on information she's revealed and other stuff posted on the board, I have some "speculations" about who she might be. I don't know her through anything other than this swap, though. I don't participate in Chat here, have only done one other swap through the Quilting Board and I've never met any of you in person. Of course time will tell. With >90 ladies in the swap, probabilities are against me guessing correctly, of course. I just find it part of the fun to speculate.

I just wanted my Angel Ethel to know I'm enjoying my flowers today and thank you so much for the beautiful card! Its been the best birthday ever! And yes we will be friends forever I'm sure. I have no idea where you are but I'd love to meet you one day too. Your so clever when you send stuff I have no Idea what state its coming from lol. Love yeah.

Think it's wonderful are cleverly cunning some of the Angels are. I'm deficient in that. I just send from my state which is generally "The Great State of Chaos." Too bad P.O. doesn't have a postmark for that.

I think they should make a stamp with that on it! They'd make a fortune and maybe never have to raise the postage rates so often!

My Secret Angel sent me a huge package for my birthday! She went wild at the store. There were so many wonderful things, it made me cry.

I want to thank Laverne from the bottom of my heart.

I will post pictures as soon as I can bring myself to go through the box of "stuff" from the car wreck in the garage and find my camera. If it doesn't work... I'll shop a new one! :thumbup:

Well I just got my mail....WOW....My SQA sent me a package with Stars & Stripes Picnic Quilt pattern and the material to make it!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH.....You ROCK!!!!!! I have not seen this pattern before. I love it...Thanks to the best SQA ever!!!!!!

What a great surprise was waiting for me when I got home this weekend. How thoughtful of you to remember my anniversary. The card was wonderful, and the lace dolie is beautiful. I think i will frame it, and hang it in my sewingroom. As always, you are the best SQA :-D

I too have no idea who my Angel is....just that she is a true "A N G E L". God blesses us with special people in our lives and she will always be special in mine.

These swaps not only help us to get to know each other better even tho sight unseen, but it makes long time friendships grow. I have become such great friends with Trupeach. She was my very first "swap" mate here on the board and we are such good friends now. We pm each other regularly and not only are friends to each other but share our family ups and downs and pray for each other constantly. It is strange how even tho we have never met we have so much in common and share such a bond. I love her dearly and always will. ("Love you Janice") I know I will walk away from my first year Angel swap with a great friendship with yet another quilter. Can't wait to find out who that fantastic ANGEL is.

I just want to thank my Secret angel. I have a thoughtful angel she is always thinking of me. I was out of town for awhile and came home to find a package. My angel sent me a book. it's called Cascade of Quilting essentails. The book is full of patterns to make totes for your rulers and cutting mats.
I go on retreats and sew-ins, so this will come in hady. Thanks sweet angel.

It was a July for my Birthday and August box since she will be out of town for the month . Says I can't open the second part of the package til August , which it is now technically , but I will wait a week and open the second part :wink:

Yesterday I got a big box from my SQA and wow! I got a really neat apron panel, so I can cut out and put together. I don't have an apron so this will be fun to make. And I also got , well my kids got, a pencil box each with a few school supplies inside!! How nice of you to send that for them, they will be so excited when they get home from grandmas this weekend! I didn't tell themyet they will just have to be surprised!!

Hi! I came home today and had a package from my Dear Sweet Angel, She sent me 4 quilting magazines and three of the cutest metal flower picks,and of course her monthly sweet note.Thank You soooooooo much my dear Angel, i love it.

I did receive a big package in the Mail. I think it is from my Angel but since I belong to three groups I am not positive. If it is from my Angel thank you so much. You really made my day. Wonderful red fabric, lots of fat quarters, a cup and saucer set, a chicken pin cushion,a pattern, wind chimes, needles, hand balm and cookie cutters for a train. The fat quarters are batiks and a bundle of brights that all go together.

What a wonderful package. (((HUGS))) to my Angel for such a wonderful package.

And to my anglee you will have a package later this week.

I have just used some of the gorgeous "IRIS" fabric, that you sent in my package for May. I am very proud of how this block turned out & most thankful to you, for sending it to me!!
