I GOT A NEW ANGEL! I GOT A NEW ANGEL!

I had a very sweet person send me a gift because she felt bad that my angel has been MIA for 4 months.

It's a GREAT package! I will have to post pictures tomorrow because I left my camera cord at home today.

She wanted me to post some info on myself..so here it is:

-I am allergic to tree nuts, but peanuts are ok and I LOVE peanut butter
-I am not big on chocolate, more of a candy person! Jelly beans, sour patch kids, twizzlers etc.
-My favorite colors are Pink, Dark Purple, and Green
-My Favorite animals are #1 Elephants, #2 Penguins, #3 Owls
-My Birthday is Nov. 8th
-I am Canadian

and my BFF is LovingIzabella (April)...I can't think of anything else to say right now, but she would be a good person to ask LOL

Lets see....I got some jewelry making supplies, a really cute angel pin, a beautiful mini wreath that I think my angel might have made herself, another cute pin that she possibly made herself, a beautiful card and a really cute square for decoration that has a really sweet saying on it (I know I didn't justify explaining that but I don't know what else to call it!)

:oops: :oops: I put my read bag away so I wouldn't open it right away , and yep out of sight, out of mind :oops:

I opened it last night with my friend over so we could enjoy the pressies together :thumbup: ( actually I wanted to make her jealous :wink: LOL )

I love elephants too, I am glad you got a package, I know it made you feel good, but It was'nt from me, somebody else had the same Idea.

I believe in December sometime, that's about all I know.

What a good thing sugar pumpkinput on the sight what she liked and what she was alergic to, I think it would be a good Idea for all of us to dothat and then we can see what one likes and does not like and that away we can oplan our boxes acordingly. What do you think.

Chrickett-sounds like a terrific idea. I'm not allergic to anything, I think I love just about any color, but blues, purples, pinks I think are my favorite. Favorite animals, are horses and dogs, not necessarily in that order, then cats, but in general like all animals, DO NOT like snakes. LOL

Sharon b I love your kitties....so cute! I am so far behind in my projects.....3 birthday quilts, 3 baby quilts, 3 fat quarter bags,,,,,etc etc etc. The hurrier I go the behinder I get. Just been too hot to sew. This heat causes me to have to take naps almost every afternoon after I get home from work while trying to cool down and then time to fix supper and get ready for bed, etc and then get up at 5 a.m. and start all over. Will be glad when cooler weather gets here. Oh if only I could retire now!!!! Anyone know where an older person can get reasonable health insurance and they will take you as you are without a year's rider? That's my only hold up. I'm so ready to retire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I finally got to open my package for my anniversary and it was a heavy one. I received some really good smelling shower gel and lotion, it has cucumber in it and i love that smell. We got some good candy called nibs and hubby went beserk with them, they were so good but alas they are gone and dont know how to find them around here. I got an awesome magazine and really appreciated that as i dont usually buy them. Had several patterns i have put on my list. Also a couple of packs of sticky notes really good for labeling rows as you work on your quilt will definetely use those. Thank you so much SQA you helped make my anniversary special. We had a great day.

gramqlts..you need to read through some of the changes that the new health care bill includes..the waiting period was one of the things addressed..I can't remember if it changes next year or exactly when...the AARP site should be able to tell you though. Good luck:D:

Sometimes it takes me awhile to realise I am missing something.

I have high blood pressure....have had for about 15 years and have bad allergies, both skin and lung and everyone I talked to so far wants to put a year's rider for preexisting conditions which about covers everything that can go wrong, they can blame on these conditions. I can retire the end of next June and carry my Cobra from work for little over $400 a month but only for 18 months and at that time my Medicare will kick in. Did not want to wait that long tho....ready now. I have started a count down calendar last month. It shows 314 days from now til end of June but after deleting days off, holidays, vacation days, etc....that leaves 196 days. Am I getting technical or what!!! lol

Sorry it took a few days dear Angel to post these. My sinus infection reared its ugly head again even after being on one round of antibiotics and an earache again so am on another round of antibiotics and all the home remedy stuff.

Anyway, can't wait to get the frame on my license plate now that the car is back from the mechanics.
The wallhanging is adoreable and I hope to start on it next week. I already used the Best Press. It smells very nice. I will play around with the embellishments to find the right 'order' on the hanging. Should be really cute.
I know you put alot of thought into what you buy. It always shows. I especially love your little notes. It helps me to know a little more about my 'special' friend and what to pray for you for. Hope your week has been good and you have enjoyed your new position at work. Thank you so much.
