I just measured the height of the shade and the circumference at the bottom and top, wrapped it around and cut it to fit. I used spray adhesive on that part. Then I glued some white bias tape on the top and bottom edge with Elmer's glue. Quick and simple!

That lamp shade is NEAT!! I would love to do something like that with a 1940s black lamp of my late DH's that he loved. It would go nicely with the feel of that age, with the ceramic dark lady holding up the lamp.

Thanks for the idea, I've been wanting to do something but had absolutely no idea of what would work.

Is this a modern day fabric pattern? Is it still for sale? In LQS or online? I would love one in black and cream.
