Semi-Finalist Paducah AQS Spring Show

2 Attachment(s)
I'm very happy to have had my miniature quilt accepted for the Paducah AQS Spring Show which will be held in Paducah, KY April 24-27th. AQS provided this picture for all semi finalists to show on line.

I'm also attaching a picture of my little quilt which measures 17.5x19.5" This took me almost a year to complete. What was I thinking to try to make this in miniature. I'm not sure which was the most difficult...the piecing, the embroidery, or the machine quilting. Hope you all can make it to the show. Thanks for looking.

Just used 100% cotton embroidery thread, 2 strands. It is by Color Works, and I found out after stitching that it is not colorfast. I sure hope it never gets wet. Watched a lot of "how to" on YouTube to learn different stitches. Never too old to learn something new.
