Sewing Machine cover and matching mat ...
 

Hi everyone,
I finished this set this week for another donation item for the auction for the diabetic kids. The block was sent to me from bloomin' Iris. (along with many others) I am working on the other blocks to be able to make them into a quilt, but, this one was too large. So ... This is what I came up with. I sure hope someone finds it nice enough to buy. LOL!

The front, back and mat were quilted.

I forgot to mention that the green strip on the front of the mat is pockets.

I love the mat with pockets. I was thinking of making a cover for my machine & now I think a mat would be a perfect set. Thanks for sharing the idea.

Copy down the item number and title and then you can either email the diabetes office or call them direct with an offer, your name and your phone number, and how you will be paying.

After the day of the auction, the highest bidder wins! I will be posting the link to the album on the requests part of the board under diabetic children silent auction thread title too in a couple weeks or so.. Thanks for asking.

Beautiful....did you have a pattern? Would love to make one for my machine.

Sorry no pattern dap. I just had the measurements of my machine and the bottom to go by. It is not hard once you figure that out. Pretty simple rectangles and straight sewing really. The donated block is what makes it special.

2 too pretty's! now i have inspriation for the day, may go make a new cover for mine. also may try the draped mat, never made one of those before. love the colors! :)
