Sewing Machine cover and matching mat ...

    Hi everyone,
I finished this set this week for another donation item for the auction for the diabetic kids. The block was sent to me from bloomin' Iris. (along with many others) I am working on the other blocks to be able to make them into a quilt, but, this one was too large. So ... This is what I came up with. I sure hope someone finds it nice enough to buy. LOL!

The front, back and mat were quilted.

I forgot to mention that the green strip on the front of the mat is pockets.

I love the mat with pockets. I was thinking of making a cover for my machine & now I think a mat would be a perfect set. Thanks for sharing the idea.

I love how you put those together. The mat and cover will be very useful, but they are beautiful too.

I use the old addage that form follows function... LOL! Thanks so much you two! These are just pulled from my stash and the pattern is off the cuff.

Beautiful. Our LQS is offering a class in these two items and I was thinking about signing up. You have helped me make up my mind. I'm going!
