Sewing Machine Cover
1 Attachment(s)
I was somewhat neglecting my mom's birthday quilt this weekend as I am so exited about my new sewing corner that I couldn't wait but had to use the machine... I finally got a sewing corner!
I did put some scraps together and made a machine cover. As this is my first piece of machine quilting, I did not dare to do FMQ (my trial piece showed that I still need to practise a lot first!) but (more or less) straight lines. Here's the result: |
Your points seem to match so that is half the battle. You may want to start of doing what is called Crosshatching. They are straight lines normally at a 45 degree angle. Hand quilters use that stitch as filler for the background on their lovely applique quilts. Job well done.

That is really beautiful! You definitely have an eye for color and design. Congratulations on your sewing corner!
