Sewing room closet organized!!!!
 

I finally had the time to diligently get my sewing room closet together. I didn't take before photos but just love the way it came out afterwards. Everything in its box with labels so that I can know where to find items easily. It took me a day and a half but worth it! The boxes I bought at Joanns once they came down to 40-70% off, probably to make room for the next ones. Some are of Susan Winget's designs others are Gina Higgins Inc., either way they are beautiful and I love the way it came out!

wow, those cute boxes would work great for small fabrics. Love the shelves. I just got shelves in my closet for fabric and I Love it.

So pretty and well organized. Now go to Hancocks they have a great sale going on. I should say at least here in Corpus Christi and went to a couple estate sales. I was coming out of one with a sewing machine in the cabinet for $60.00 with the manual. It was a 1750 Singer Zig Zag. Saw a friend of mine in the walk in closet. She walked right past the machine and said they must've sold it. When I showed it to her she immediately snatched it up. It was recently used about 3 months ago. Yep, she didn't argue the price and grabbed everything else that went with it. They let her have it all including about 20 yards of material for $75.00. Then she went to Hancocks. This was for her daughter's 8th birthday.

Nygal, where in NY are you from? I'm originally from NYC. QuiltsRfun, it took some time and a lot of sweat but I love the final look! LynnVT, that's me girly, girly with pinks and soft yellows my favorite colors. My bf has his man cave and he knows not to step foot into my woman cave! Rosie the Ripper, already got my projects lined up and I'm excited. I'm determined not to make too much of a mess in the closet and/or the sewing room itself! Thank you all again for the nice compliments! Now I need to go to Joanns to see if I can find two more boxes and then I'm done!

I suggest you get a couple extra boxes to allow for growth.

Quilterfay I got those boxes from different Joanns here (we have 3 close to me) and depending on which one I went to depends on the style. I fell in love with the pink/yellow tones since its so me. I noticed that most Joanns are depleting them to have the new ones (fall colors I think) come in. Either way they're not as expensive especially since they are 40% off and some, like the smaller ones have been clearance out. Again thank you all for the compliments. This kind of organizing has been inspired for me to go into my sewing much more one project at a time. Did I just say one? Hmmm:D

I love those boxes! I need to go to Jo Anns, my whole house is pink, cream and sage. Shabby Chic, I could use them anywhere! Your closet looks great.
