All of you that want to come play, "come on!" We live in very near the Redwoods and that's a wonderful destination for vacations. There are two quite nice quilt stores about 20 minutes away. We can have some fun! I've been collecting my stash for about 8 years now. When it was in the plastic boxes it didn't seem all that much. Ha! While putting it all away I kept being surprised by 'another stack of fabric.':shock: I had it everywhere. Linda that "red thing" is a little mesh basket that I use for trash. The ironing board is still a bit of a mess. :roll: For anyone that is considering redoing their sewing room in the future, near or far, I recommend that you just start collecting ideas. Keep a folder. When the time comes examples everything you want will be there. My only slip up is I should have put locks on those fabric doors. My sisters will be visiting in a month and they love fabric as much as I do! Egads! :lol: Thank you for all the positive words here. Love 'em! Gotcha! :lol: |

Oh My! What a nice space you have made for yourself! Everything looks very well thought out. I have a sewing room, but, believe me it looks nothing like yours. Those cabinets are just the cats meow! Love love it you lucky girl!
My sister has a seperate mother in law quarters in the back of her property. If I owned that house it would be my studio. She isn't doing anything with it! Is that crazy or what? But, she does use the workshop built onto the side of the three car garage. I have a friend who bought a trailor and gutted it and turned it into her studio. Really cute workspace. I guess if there is a will there is a way. And you proved it here. What a nice ending to a lifetime of planning. |

Thank you! It is indeed a great room. And trust me! It's knee deep!!! Still trying to find a place for everything!!! Do we have too much stuff or just never enough storage?? Question of the year! The other problem, I'd rather be sewing than putting those last items away! :roll: Off I go.
