It is like having a non stop hot flash !! LOL I guess I miss having them, NOT !!! LOL :-D :-D I will post more pics when I get more of the room done, have to check all my paint colors. |
OMGosh. YOu are doing so much yourself. Looks like a big project and I am envious of what you will have when you are finsihed. I love the slanted ceilings. It is like a dormer. I have a walk in attic up above and already have a door added on teh side of the house, you go up the stairs and open it and then you can walk across the whole top. I wanted to have it for crafts but too much for us now. I will keep checking on your progress. I love watching the progress and the wonderful things chaning and getting finished. Stay cool and don't over do it. I remember living in Washington State adn no A/c. I was shocked but then got acclimated and realized they did not need it mostr of the time. Happy adventures. HUGS♥♥

Debbie,
I always do alot of things myself. I only ask DH to help if something is a little too large for me to move, but even then I don't ask. LOL I am just stubborn like that !! LOL Ksea - I am getting excited now, the one side is almost ready for paint !!! I will take breaks & drink plenty of lemon water. I bet I have drank over 6 gallons of water in the past 4 days. LOL I am usually a big coffee drinker. :-D |
fantasic transformation!
|
Wow! You are really transforming that space! I sympathize with the wallpaper stripping - we had a house built in 1860 once and when I started stripping the paper in our bedroom, there were 6 layers on all 4 walls AND 3 layers on the ceiling! You can sit back and be really proud of what you've accomplished! I have a suggestion for the middle room with no windows - you could look into a couple of "tubular" skylights. Even ONE small one would light up your room. We installed one in a room that was always pretty dark, and it looks like a round light that's on all day! That's something you could add down the road . . .

What a task ahead of you! I see you have 2 posts on this. Making me work to find all the exciting things!!!

I love the color of the walls it is so soothing.

gramma mo,
Had checked about tubular skylight, when we had some roof work done. They couldn't promise it would not leak, because of the type of metal roof we have. I am ok with that, because we had what they called " condensation leaks" , there was no vapor barer between original board roof & metal roof, so it would drip & leak. We were able to reuse the metal, it was still in good shape. Well, break time is over, back to muddin :-D Later all !! :-D |
