I agree. I think it's look perfect with just the black. I think anything else would take away from beautiful colors in the quilt.

Your shadow box quilt is wonderful! I am planning now to start a simpler one with all of the boxes the same size using scenery focus fabric. I hope it looks as nice as yours does when it is finished.
