Shadowbox Top Done!

2 Attachment(s)
Yay, another top done, next the challenging part, for me, is quilting! I bought the pattern and batik fabrics yesterday at the LQS. Started at 3pm and finished today at 12:43pm, that's a new record for me, hehe. This is going to be for my son who turned 25 :)

Edit: I don't know why the first picture is upside down, sorry!

I love the Shadowbox pattern and your version is delightful!

deanneellen 03-13-2013 10:37 AM

Can't believe you finished it so quickly. I never seem to have that much time to quilt which is my own fault. Maybe I need to stay off my computer more? The quilt is lovely and your son will surely enjoy it.

Pieces2 03-15-2013 04:47 AM

A great pattern and colors for a guy quilt. :)

Teeler 03-15-2013 06:18 AM

Oh, how pretty! I love how this pattern 'anchors' the rectangles at the bottom so they aren't just 'floating' in the background fabric. And the shadows! Superb! Love it!

Jakers1 03-15-2013 07:05 AM

Where did you get the pattern? I have been looking and cannot find one that is similar to the one you made. I have fabric that is waiting for a pattern and I think I have found it!

I bought the pattern at Wish Upon A Quilt here in Raleigh. I checked online and its there under the patterns section. Happy quilting!
