Shakespeare in the Park quilted!!

Back in September I showed you all this quilt, made from a Judy Martin book. I sent it to Missouri Star and they did a great job on it.
I need to bind it but wanted to show a few photos. I have a hard time with pics. The entire border is composed of small star blocks. I can't seem to get the whole quilt in the pics. Thanks for looking! I absolutely love it :) |
Beautiful. BrendaK

When I picked out the pattern I didn't know I would do red and green but now I can have it out for Christmas and it will blend in nicely. So it can work double for me!
|
I love everything about it. I know it feels good to have it finished. Good job.
|
I have been following your progress and it's so awesome to see it finished! Great job and the Missouri Star quilting looks great!
|
Truly wonderful quilt.

You really did a lovely job with this quilt. A well thought out balance of value and choice of color (complimentary colors from the color wheel always play nice together) combined with a fabulous pattern executed well is just the kind of quilt that benefits from an edge to edge quilting treatment. No need for custom quilting on that beauty as your piecing and execution of the design stands on its own. I hope you have a local show you can enter this in so many other people can enjoy what a beautiful quilt you created.

Looks fantastic.

You are using my favorite colors. I think your quilt is inspirational. I especially appreciate the extra work you put into those smaller star blocks. Thank you for sharing this lovely quilt.
|
That's beautiful!

Bravo, Suzie! It's beautiful. I love those colors together. What did you ask of MSQC for quilting, or did they make the decision?
|
Now, that’s a keeper! Beautiful!
