I am currently working on a batik sampler quilt. I have found that I am a hopeless batik addict. Ever since I got my hands on the first few yards, I haven't been able to stop buying it....and I'm not kidding. I really love your colors!!! I haven't done a stained glass look yet, but have looked at them A LOT lately.....Oy!

I still don't know abut the zip quilt. Waiting to see one! |
No not from a yard sale. Thequiltingcottage.com back around Christmas had them on sale for 4.00 a yard. They are having a sale know but they are 6.49 a yd. They only have about 10 colors left. I'll never find a deal like that again. I had some extra money (I wonder what that it) and spent it all on the batiks. I have a enough of each except for the bright orange to do several projects. Anymore if you see something you just have to have you better jump on it because in a day or two it will be $2 more. I've never seen prices of things go up some quickly and its not just a cent or two, it's a dollar or 2 at a time. I purchased some towels to embroidery for a couple of children's baptisms in Jan or Feb. They were $5 each. Last week the same towel was $7.
