This is fun to see how everyone uses the scraps from front to make something for the back. I'm liking all the wonderful work!

Very creative backings!! I have "backing" story. (but no picitures, so as Ma on he Golden Girls would say, "Picture this.") I made my son a Warm Wishes quilt with musical instruments fabric and other fabrics that had a lot of movement. I thought it was a beautiful top. Well, for the backing I pieced some of the fabrics I had used on the front and then added black silouettes of his guitars (actually traced from his own guitars). The quilt was the size for him to use on his recliner. Well, the first time I went to his house after giving it to him, he escorted me to see his quilt on HIS BED -- queen size. And there it was, big as day with the backing UP. Didn't fit the bed and backing up. He is so proud of his quilt and his appliqued guitars. Cest la vie!

The backs are great, I can only imagine that the fronts are terrific as well. I am going to piece my next back.
