You could buy those ring clips that you just pinch the curtain. The ring itself would slip onto a shower ring easily. That way if you change your mind and want to put it on a bed or vice versa you wouldn't have to resort to putting holes in it. I've done that with curtain panels. No one knew the curtains hanging in one bedroom on one window also was used as a shower curtain. You can find them anywhere at a decent price. The rings are brass and come in different sizes.

Great idea, thanks! My curtain rod is one of the permanent, curved ones and I need to use the rings. But I could maybe do the buttonholes/grommets just in the hanging sleeve. I'll have to see how that works.
I almost had a change of heart when I laid it out on my bed...it's almost big enough, would just need a little more height to be bed-sized!

That's very pretty and different for a shower curtain I'm sure you wouldn't be able to find one to buy. Great idea. Sue

Thanks for the tips! I'll have a look for the clip-on rings, that's much easier and will work perfectly. And I decided I will definitely quilt it, with a very light batting and backing. That way it's more versatile should I ever change my mind about where it hangs.

What a gorgeous shower curtain. I would feel very glamorous showering behind that.
