These sets of three baby quilts are so fast and easy. Just one yard of 3 different prints makes 3 little quilts, 34" x 42". This came from an old Quiltmaker magazine. May/June 2006.

LeslieFrost 09-07-2011 01:57 PM

Cute! I will have to see if I have that magazine. Or, you could give us a pic of one whole quilt spread out, so I could see?

Sandee 09-07-2011 01:58 PM

It's called super sized nine patch. You can get the pattern at http://quiltmaker.com/patterns

Edited: Type the pattern name in search then click on the first one and scroll down to down load PDF file.

That's strange because I just tried the link and it worked. Try typing the the link without /patterns on the end.

Aren't you the smart one. Wish I was smart like you. Job well done!

This is a pattern by Anita Grossman Soloman of Make it Simple fame. I have saved this pattern from her site.

They are called "Super 9-Patch". You can find the link online. Here it is: http://www.ashevillequiltguild.org/A...or%20Linus.pdf I made some of these with a girl that I was teaching how to sew. We enjoyed doing them. Super simple....cute and quick for babies.

TacoMama 09-07-2011 09:22 PM

Tried this once and have no idea where it went to. Anyway here is a picture of one of the three I made. I appliqued a crab to the center block as there were crabs on the fabric and I didn't like the plain block.

Homespun 09-08-2011 04:00 AM

Wow, you've been busy!

heather1949 09-08-2011 04:01 AM

they are beautiful.

fitzroytrophies 09-08-2011 04:13 AM

I have been using this same quilt pattern now for about 4 years now. I think its just great.
I got it from the magazine at our local Library.
Took a photcopy and have well over a dozen of them as presents.
I never thought to take some photos of them to keep. I can email the instructions or pattern to anyone who would like it if this is allowed.
