Simple Child's Quilt from Leftovers: Dancing 4 Patch
 

A quilting friend make a LOT of twister quilts. I don't know how she makes them, but she has been giving me the leftover scraps, which are a lot of 5" squares and wedges. From those squares and wedges, I made this:

I call it a Dancing 4 Patch.

This is so cute and great way of show casing the leftover blocks!

Isn't the backing fabric awesome?! It's by Jay McCaroll who was on Project Runway many years back, but it looks just like something Dr. Seuss drew! Extremely Seusslike!

Fun and colorful. Who would know it was 'just leftovers'. At my house we call 'leftovers' 'planned overs'. Then I can quilt more and still have nice meals. We can do that with quilting, also, can't we? Great quilt and nice backing. I also really like your border treatment; it just ties it all together.
