Singing River Stars

The older BH&G book where I saw this quilt refers to the block as Saint Charles Star, although I haven't found that anywhere else. In recognition of the name early Native Americans gave the Tennessee River, which is nine miles from my home, I call my quilt Singing River Stars.

Beautiful, looks like ice crystals falling. Love that you used the Baptist fan for quilting this quilt. It is not a difficult pattern to use when quilting by machine.
