Well, took me 3 weeks to quilt this due to a bad neck from a deer hitting our yukon and having what my chiropractor calls my quilter shoulder...but she liked it and it did turn our nice but a lot of work. This was 116x91 Done using my HQ Fusion and ProStitcher

Triple Irish Chain is one of my favourites; I've made two. Neither of which have anywhere near the beautiful quilting that you have done on yours. Your SIL is lucky to be getting this!

My SIL made the quilt... i only quilted it... her guild has a show the 15-16-17 of March.
I guess I didn't make it clear she madet the top... Sorry but yes she loves it.. It is a Triple Irish Chain from Eleanor Burns although she told me she cut little squares to get all the different fabrics..

Love the colours in the quilt and the quilting is simply stunning! Do you have a pic of the entire quilt?

Narda H. 03-10-2013 03:05 AM

That is one gorgeous quilt! Love that you made it with scraps/ multi colors. I made one last year and its not easy getting all the pieces to line up without shaving a square off a little. Great job and I think I'll try this quilt again using scraps. Thanks for posting!

twinkie 03-10-2013 03:29 AM

That is a beautiful quilt. And, the quilting is outstanding.

Yooper32 03-10-2013 04:56 AM

Would like to see the whole thing, but must say, your oak leaves are nothing short of spectacular.
