Thank you for all the beautiful quilt pics.

Thanks for the pix. The painting quilt is interesting. I thought about doing one of Matisse's odalisques. With magnolias or a la coulotte. Love the florals.

Or was that only because you were there very early? All of you who were lucky enough to get there, you must have had a great day.

Actually it was very crowded but they have lots of benches, chairs and grass. Plus I did go early went back to the RV for a while, and then went back just before closing making it much easier to see. I did have a good time. But was disappointed at how few hand quilted quilts were there. Amish mostly. I am happy to say, I still hand quilt.

I hand quilt too and in the shows I've been to (NY, NJ, PA) there's less and less every time. Thanks again for sharing this fun day with all of us.

P.S. FORGOT TO ASK - are there vendors or is it strictly quilts on exhibit?

Large machine companies sponsor these and give out the prizes so of course they will pick the machine work. Unfortunately. What a loss but we can try to keep it alive.

Thank you Rhueluna for all the wonderful eye candy. I hand quilt and machine quilt. I think at shows they should judge hand work as a seperate category but I don't think they do unless it is the county fair. I have noticed also not very many hand quilted quilts at shows any more.
