I can't thank you enough for sharing. That would be my dream vacation. In reality I'll probably never get to go but in my dreams I can visit often. It looks like so much fun. My DH even drooled over the pictures. My dreams will be more vivid thanks to you.

You're welcome I love sharing with people that I can have actual conversations with about quilting.

Its only for one day but the week before there are programs going on at the stores in town. The Stitchin Post is in charge of most. I may go earlier in the week next time to hit some of the classes. Going to Alaska next year so I will miss the whole thing.

I am glad I made so many people happy. I had no idea what my pictures would do and it makes me happy to share. Dream on.

And what a lovely backdrop for those quilts! I can't believe I've never turned at Redmond and made the short trip to visit. One of these days.......

Well, now you know it would be worth the drive. The Stitchin Post is a great store to visit. And they have classes just before the show.

One of them I will call (in my own mind) ACID DREAMS
from the 1960s..bet you can tell which one that is!

And now I'm showing my age..........

I'm guessing its the funky abstract with purples and greens. There are many that it could be however like the New York beauties people have altered. My biggest disappointment was how few hand quilted quilts out of all those. Maybe 6 if that. I am proud to be a hand quilter, piecer and no machine. However there were a lot of art quilts that make the machine quilting awesome. To me it depends on what item you use the machine on. The Cadilac is a good example of good machine work.

Thanks Rhueluna for letting us all get a look. Hope you had a wonderful time. Somehow I imagined it as wall to wall people but it looks like there was room to move around and really see the quilts, and plenty of empty seats for a few minutes' rest. Or was that only because you were there very early? All of you who were lucky enough to get there, you must have had a great day.
