belmer 11-20-2010 03:36 PM

Now isn't that the neatest way to recycle those old clothes. This was so smart of you to think of making your bow tuck purse from a skirt. I love it!

asmmauer 11-20-2010 03:49 PM

my daughters would like that a lot they are always in jeans they take after their mom must be from living out in the country always ready for work or play in the great outdoors

colleen53 11-20-2010 05:03 PM

thanks everyone for your nice comments again... as you can see i love making the bow tuck but they have to be different.. i go to bed dreaming of new ways to keep the integrity of penny's bag with using different fabrics.
my dh loves this one alot so of course he is not letting me sell it.. however.............he brought me several pairs of jeans that are toooo big for him now.. he said for me to get busy and do a few more to sell !!!
i find this funny because he now knows how to make these...
GET ON IT HONEY !!!! lol

What a great purse and a great way to recycle your old blue jeans. Great job and thanks for sharing.

quiltinghere 11-20-2010 08:20 PM

That's a neat purse - and one that *I* would use on a daily basis too!

Your purse gives me an idea about skirts with great patterns that I picked up a while ago.

Geesh I need more hours in the day
