I work on this when I am in need of something simple to do. I call it my mindless sewing project.
I laid out the blocks to see how it looks to night. DH said hummm interesting and little man said it is very pretty. I really like it. It's nothing fabulous like a lot of you do but I try not to compare my quilts to others otherwise I would give up on quilting. LOL! So far it is 42 X42. [ATTACH=CONFIG]166948[/ATTACH] showing a couple of log cabins. I am thinking of making more of them to put in this quilt. What do you all think of mixing the log cabins with the other blocks? Scappy is as scrappy does...and I say whatever the creator wants...is what goes! So keep working on your project how ever which way you want. Looks great so far, so I'm sure you are on the right creative track for you!

I really like it so far. Your color choices are great and love the difference in the blocks. I am a design as you go gal myself. I know what you mean about comparing yours to other quilts on this site.....know if I quilt til I'm 100 yrs old, will never be as good as some on this site, but keep quilting cause I love it so much. My quilts are all "made with love, prayers, and a few imperfections". Keep up the good work.
