I have just come back from visiting friends in the UK and was able to go to a small exhibition whilst I was there.

The group of quilters, numbering about 15, almost all come from a small village south of Norwich, Norfolk, and put up their exhibition in the central hall of a group of Alms Houses in the village.

They kindly allowed me to take pics, though I apologise that I wasn't able to get back far enough sometimes, to get the whole quilt in.

More info on Almshouses - I'm not sure how old these ones are, there wasn't a date on them that I could see, and I forgot to ask when I was inside looking at the quilts.

Thanks so much. Some of them are just stunning.
I love the Dresden Plates and the small House scenes in particular.
I'm not an applique fan, but those flower quilts are lovely.

They were all lovely, and it was hard to think of a favourite. I was pleased to see the twisted log cabin, because I had just acquired a second hand copy of the book it was featured in. But my overall favourite was the last one, from a Tent Maker's design.
