I have just come back from visiting friends in the UK and was able to go to a small exhibition whilst I was there.
The group of quilters, numbering about 15, almost all come from a small village south of Norwich, Norfolk, and put up their exhibition in the central hall of a group of Alms Houses in the village. They kindly allowed me to take pics, though I apologise that I wasn't able to get back far enough sometimes, to get the whole quilt in. Thanks so much. Some of them are just stunning.
I love the Dresden Plates and the small House scenes in particular. I'm not an applique fan, but those flower quilts are lovely. |
