Small Top ... Needs a Name
3 Attachment(s)
I made this using Sulabug's choice for the QB Block of the Month, March 2014.
( http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...n-t242254.html ) ( http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...s-t242253.html ) I drew the alternate block myself, using EQ, but I doubt it's original. I'm sure it's "out there" somewhere in the public domain. There might even be one just like it already included in EQ. I was just too lazy to look. Love the look. Sorry can't help with name.
I am not original. |
Maybe "Grey Matter" ( Smiles)
Kind of looks like pixels..so maybe Pixilated
Do you remember the song, "My Girl?" The lyrics immediately came to mind when I saw your quilt... "I've got sunshine on a cloudy day...When its cold outside, I've got the month of May...." That's what I would name it... "Sunshine On a Cloudy Day." Very nice quilt! I love it.

If it is more purple - Purple Pop Up
If more blue - Blueberry Soup A very nice quilt. peace |
Looks great! "Blooming Wonder "

Hello everyone,
what a lovely and outstanding project it is. Nice to see this. Thanks for sharing. JOHN |
The way the small squares make a diamond about the center make me think of a garden path - what about My Blue Garden?
Paths and Posies.
Tic-tac-toe
I like how the smaller and then the larger squares make it seem to flow in and out! No clue for name.
Doodlebug. Because you doodled a path around Sulabug's block.
How about 'Time Square'
all I could think of was Checkers, but love Gray Matter suggested earlier.
Blue baby.
Bees in the daffadills. I love this pattern!
For some reason "Crossroads" came to mind.

Stepping on Sunshine!

I don't know about a name, but I love the quilt! I can never find blocks in EQ so I just draw them up as well, probably faster than trying to find them!
Patrice, I love how your small-top project turned out. It is really Great, something I wouldn't have thought about trying. You are just to clever for me!! :D The blue colors makes me think of the name: Blue Bonnet. So far, all of the names suggested would really suit your top. I'll be anxious to know what name you choose.
:D :D :D :D |

Great job, love the little top, very cute.

Irish Get Together. Because it resembles an Irish Chain and other blocks have joined.
very pretty. I am so jealous of those of you who are so talented and have the time to quilt, but I'm so grateful you are a member of this board where you share your ideas and encourage the rest of us.
