Well there is nothing like a picture to amplify your mistake! LOL! I got ever so slightly off the seam that is on the left lower middle. Dang it I will have to take that out and fix it.
Oh well here is the wallhanging that kept me busy today. :@) This is done with a charm pack of tamarac by moda. I think there isn't five inches left of the pack.

Beautiful purple! It took me a long time to find your 'mistake', I don't think it's worth redoing. We shouldn't be such perfectionists! We are too hard on ourselves. Great job.

Good Morning girls! Thanks so much for all your sweet comments. There was a pattern for it. This was the last thing my buddy Kitty gave me before she died this summer.

It is called Tamarack Grove. It was tiny kit with the eggplant fabric and one charm pack. It say's that it is a wall hanging designed by Bloom Creek for Marcus Brothers. (33"x33" ) The original pattern used the Aunt Grace fabrics and a white muslin background.

I have to take that out this morning and fix it. It is bugging me silly! It would not take very long. I think I will put a small border on and then quilt it today.

I kept looking & never did see a mistake! I think it is beautiful & you do such nice work. However if you knoew there was a mistake & did not fix it, it might take the love out of the quilt for you. It is a beauty & would love to see it quilted. Thank You for sharing.

Absolutely beautiful. Would never have seen your "problem" if you hadn't said about it. What a great pattern.

Well I just couldn't make myself take it out and distort the bias edges even further. I had to press those seams open to distribute the bulk out. There just was too much bulk and bias, know what I mean? I was showing it to my brother's girlfriend and it took forever to find the mistake to show her. LOL! Oh well, so it's not perfect, neither am I.

I am thinking some round quilting to break up the squareness of it and give it a time and space look. What do you think?
