I so like this pattern. Simple but the results make it look so much harder. Done with batiks and black really looks sharp.

Sometimes the simpliest of patterns is what is needed to let the beauty of the fabric take center stage! Your quilt top certainly is a beauty.

This is a cool way to put 'scraps' to very good use. Can't hardly call them scraps!

This is the type of quilt I want to make with the batiks FQ that I have. I also have lots of black from the sashing.

I have copied your idea for using some of my batiks.....such a great but easy pattern. You've done a great job and the border concept here, is wonderful.......I thought I would be using a ton of batik.....but like most scrap quilts, I have LOTS left over.....may make a second or third or (on and on). HeeHee. They are mulipling at night (the batiks, that is)! I am running out of the black, however....
