TOTALLY AWESOME!!! How long did it take you to piece the top?

marquezluz 04-12-2010 06:49 PM

It took me three weeks to cut the fabric and 5 months to piece it all together.

grammyp 04-12-2010 07:40 PM

It was totally worth every minute you spent on it. That is one beautiful quilt.

n2scraplvr 04-12-2010 07:41 PM

That means there are 4,372 pieces that are 1" not including the border pieces so throw in a couple thousand more and you probably have at least 6,300 pieces or more in the quilt! Congrats to you for sticking with it! Perseverance paid off! It is so stunning to look at and reflects the light beautifully! Gorgeous design from JM! Love her books and work too! Fantastic job!! :D :D
