Snow-dyed baby quilt

I snow-dyed some fabric a couple of weeks ago and just finished this baby quilt with the results. The dyed fabric is permanent and completely safe using professional products.

I found some cute Disney fabric for the back and it all came together nicely.

I love it, since we don't get snow I've done it with shaving cream.

We don't get snow very often, so I use ice cubes from my refrigerator too. You don't even have to crush it, just put ice on the fabric and sprinkle the dye over that. Works great. The fabric color is a bit more intense than with the snow, but it works great. I'll see if I can dig up a piece of ice-dyed fabric and post that here.

That's kool. What is the process? Is there a formula? Would love to hear more about this. BrendaK

BrendaK, I posted a little tutorial over on QB's Facebook page. Do you like us on FB? If not, I can do a tutorial over here too.

Love your fabric! This is the first time since I moved away from the snow belt back east (40 years ago) that I miss snow!
