We picked up my quilts from the LAQ today 'cause we're expecting another 8" of snow Sunday/Monday after the 3' we received earlier this week. Good time to stay in and finish my daughter's quilt for Christmas
I made a quilt earlier this year for my dgs but because it doen't have a flannel back ... So he's getting this flannel backed snuggle quilt to go under it I like the backing as much as the front My reason to stay in and quilt |

Such beautiful quilts. I especially love the one that looks snow!! LOL!!
Great job on all the quilts- and I would be using them now to snuggle under to stay warm with all that snow
I like every single one !!! Beautiful.
they are all really nice :)
LOVE the quilts....NOT the snow!!
Great collection of quilts!
Beautiful quilts, but oh my look at all that snow. You need all those quilts just to keep warm.
Makes me happy to live in my part of Australia where snow is a hit and miss! |
Beautiful quilts! I especially like the wine colored sampler! We are expecting snow tomorrow as well, and I sure hope we get three feet!
your quilts are lovely
I had to see where you live because that is a lot of snow I live in Ontario too but on the shores of Lake Erie & so far we haven't had much snow Sandra |
Those are beautiful quilts and some UGLY snow!
Temps here are falling already and we're looking for a high on Monday and Tuesday of 10 with 40 mph winds. Glad I'm staying home. If the power goes out, guess I'll have to work on the treadle! |
please keep the snow up there...so far we have none.
They're all gorgeous! I'd love an excuse like a huge snow storm to stay home and quilt! That never happens here in California--when we get some rain drizzles the news stations all talk about "Storm Watch"!
Oh my, we had that just before Thanksgiving. We didn't do Thanksgiving on account of all the snow we got. We are getting a lot of rain now so I agree, a good day to stay in and quilt. The quilts are beautiful tho. Huggies, Fay

Love all the quilts, especially the sampler. We have falling temps and gusty winds, snow we were to get turned and went North, we have a lot of that kind of luck here.Your snow is pretty and looks so clean.
yowsa on all that snow!!!!
I'd be snowed in for weeks if we ever got that much snow!! Just not able to handle it here in SW Ohio... |
OMG I don't know what we would do if we got that much snow! The most we have ever had is 17" at one time & it all but stopped the city. There was nothing open, Cars were getting stuck, snow plows were very limited & couldn't keep up! So we were stuck in the house for a couple days! I can't imagine having 3'! Your patio table is unbelievable! UNREAL but you can keep it! We are suppose to have freezing roads & snow flurries tonight...hope it misses us
Love all your quilts. The snow is awesome, I don't believe I have ever seen so much, if we get a couple of inches here we are at a stand still. It's a good thing we don't get it much.
Love your quilts. I love winter because then I can stay in a quilt and not worry about wanting to be outside. I do love skating, which I did today and snowshoeing. But i can stay out just so long then I get cold so its go inside, cup of tea and quilt. Love it. And I do love snow too.
being from the south, snow is so loved...for a few days, then cabin fever sets in. I lived in Alaska twice, but so much more prepared for the snow...and much younger then.
Can't imagine living in as much snow as you have. Good part is that it does give you a reason to settle in and sew. You do a great job! |
Love them all and I love the snow....yes, it's a great time to quilt.
Blessings, MaryAnna |
Beautiful quilts !!
Please keep the, we had our fill of it last year 48" was the last on we got. :-) :-) Keep warm - getting cold here. |
Those are just beautiful! I wouldn't want all that snow unless I could quilt! LOL :) You do a great job!
Love all of the quilts, and the snow is pretty, but not ready for anything like that,Happy Quilting!

Beautiful quilts!! Lucky recipients :D:D:D
Your quilts are beautiful! Had to say your table outside looks like a frosted b-day cake.:)
My opinion--the back would be the front. I like the idea of that very much.
Is that a patio table outside of your door?Wow can't believe the snow pile on it!I live in Maine and I wish we'd get some of that! :-D
Very, very nice! Look at all that snow!!

We are still having blizzard conditions here today so I will be finishing up a quilt too, putting bidding on. |

We had snow here in MO last night - 2" at the most - not much at all. Where are you from that had what looked like 3' on a table on the deck?
Looks about like my house. And I am going to do the same thing, stay indoors and quilt. We are having wind gusts of 40-50 miles and hour. I sure am not going outside and thankful that I do not have to go out in it!
Hi love your work.
I particularly like the last picture of the snow. We had as much snow fall in Livingston (Scotland) last week. It is still here but melting quite nicely. This amount of snow is quite unusual for this part of Scotland. It caused our main road link between Edinburgh and Glasgow to close for almost 3 days. Anyway we have lots of quilts to keep us warm. Have a nice day. |
