That looks like a lot of work - and the grey fabric is perfect for that quilt. This is beautiful.

Nice job! Please keep the snow in your neck of the woods. I live in rural Maryland and we are still buried in the more than 60 inches of snowfall we have gotten so far this winter.
|
Oh my, that is striking. I love it. I have a stack of b/w fabric I am saving to make a small quilt or maybe a wall hanging with. You did a fabulous job.

I really really really need to get done with these crochet projects so I can make some quilt tops! You guys are killing me here!! |
The snow here has been falling like crazy lately. If you would like to share this absolutely gorgeous quilt I'll take good care of it!!!!!!!
|
Your quilt is beautiful!! I have wanted to do a feathered star pattern for years. It has always been on my "to do" list. I'm fairly accomplished in my quilting but I am still afraid of this one. How hard was it?

This pattern was from creataive scraps "quilting with bits & pieces - 67 beautiful quilts to enjoy - house of white birches page 123, design by Barbara Clayton - I added the praries points. It was an "intermediate" - I would agree - got frustrated and put it up then pulled it back out. The "star" itself is approxiamtely 10 1/2x 10 1/2. The block is about 15 inches. Hope I can post the full pictures now. Thanks for all the nice comments.

What a beautiful quilt. But you can keep the snow. I live in Idaho and we are having almost a record warm winter and I love it without the snow and ice.
|
Okay, I loved it the first time and love it even more now at close range.
