Snowmen Table Runner
 

I had snowman fabric, leftover from a previous project. I was inspired by a table runner I saw on Pinterest, it had a red and white striped inner flange. I looked in my stash and found just the right thing. I made it extra long, so it will fit on a big table. I thought I was extra careful with sewing the flange, but, it is one of those things that I am never 100% convinced it came out right. The snowmen fabric is the star on this one. I still have more snowmen fabric . . .

Flange accents are a lot harder to do then they appear to be. Being that they are much narrower, any fraction of an inch difference will show up. It look like you did fine. My only suggestion is to stitch the fold down.

Well, I really like your snowman table runner. The red stripes really shows off the rest of the fabric.

I like it. I really like the use of the red stripe flange and the red binding. Just enough red to bring out the snowmen's scarves. Only problem is that this site makes me add too many things to my list of things I would like to make!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
