A Snowy Retreat quilted by Aubrey's Quilting Creations

This is a wall hanging I quilted for a customer and it has some of the most beautiful fabric I have ever seen. She used to be a part owner of a quilt shop ten years ago and most of these fabrics where from there. She wanted to an all over meandering pattern with a light lavender thread and I feel it turned out just wonderful and the quilting design gives the snowy look a 3D effect. Thanks for looking!!

It is beautiful. Right now we just got five inches of snow. I would have rather seen a quilt with a beach. But this is gorgeous. The cold here will pass and next summer I will be more appreciative of quilts that remind me of it.

Isn't it cozy! I made this one too, but expanded it to make it a longer lap quilt. I opted out of appliqueing the snowflakes though, not my favorite process. It looks amazing!!!
