I'm still a newbie when it comes to sewing even though I've now made 5 quilts. So I ventured into something different today...made a tote! Wasn't sure I was going to like it at first...but now that it's all come together...I like it a lot! I may have to make another now...lol! (Hopefully the next will go faster! ;-) )

The pattern is by Anna Graham. @www.noodle-head.com. It's called 241 Tote Pattern. I like the size of it a lot. Large enough for essentials but not overwhelming like many totes are.

Thanks for looking!

Inside is lined and I put 2 pockets in it as well. And though you can't see it...it has a nice strong magnetic closure.

Beautiful job. I've never made any totes or purses either, but will get alot of practice very soon. My future DIL wants totes made for her bridesmaids :) should be fun.

I looked for it on that site and can't find it. Perhaps could you please give us a more specific link? Thanks!

great job with the construction and with the fabric choices. Now you can join the ranks of those of us addicted to making bags.

Well if you scroll down on the very first page of the link just past the Madras bag you'll see the tote in the lower left hand corner. Also, you can go to the top of the page where it says "Patterns" and click on that...there you can also view the pattern. Hope that helps.

I think that would be fun! I have 2 DILoves and I was thinking that maybe I would make them each one for Christmas. Never too early to be thinking about Christmas presents! ;-)
