How can you tell if a fabric is feed sacks?? Just wondering I have a bunch of butterflies that I bought that everyone says they are made from feedsacks....I would love to know how to figure out when it is by look and feel

My DH has this aunt who provided me with two feed sacks recently. They were not big enough for anything and so I made kitchen curtains from them. They are nice and thick and seem to keep outside heat from entering the window area.
