Yes, I did use a batting (Quilters Dream Orient again!) and that IS a wonderful flannel. I believe it was from Fabric.com but selvage gives no information! Plow ahead with your and be happy with it!

Really, really cute! I'm working on a disappearing 9-patch for a baby right now, but I hit a snag regarding batting/backing. Is your backing flannel? Did you use batting? I really need inspiration to finish. The baby is due the first week of June.

That one is super cute! Baby quilts really ARE fun to make!

Just adorable! You did a great job.

Kelly I sewed the back side on first by machine, then flipped it to the front and used a machine "blanket" stitch. Luckily the picture got a section where the stitches went right into the ditch!!

So cute! Love the bright, fun colors.

I M impressed with the way you matched the dots in the binding. I probably would not have even thought to do this. It appears you used a mitered technique, but please tell us how you managed this. Fantastic, happy quilt.

Any child would love this quilt. Especially love the way the critters are turned every which way. Must admit that I never would have thought of that!!

Very cute, you did a great job!

That is one cute and adorable quilt! Keeping the black and white frames on the animals WAS A BIG CHALLENGE I can see. However, it adds a great character to the quilt. I think you took DP9 to a new height.
