You all get me. All you wonderful people...

I just got on and the first several threads I looked at were beautiful quilts made with love, care and thoughts for family and dear ones, whether they are ill, going through hard times, or just to show how much they are loved and thought about. All the time, talent, skill and resources poured into these quilts - and/or passed on to the next generation(s) - I literally have tears in my eyes. THAT is why I love quilting and quilts so much (plus the fun factor of course!).

What a truly generous, in all ways, group of people. Thank you for being you.

I agree!!! I need my fix here everyday or I don't know what I would do. I was freaking out earlier when I couldn't log in. I forgot that it would be down for maintenance.

I'm fairly new here, but have to say I agree. I find myself on this site off and on all day long every day since I have joined.

It's also a great resource and tons of inspiration for beginners.

I'm pretty new here too but I saw the love,caring and generosity the first time I logged in! You are all pretty darn special! I'm so glad I joined!

In fact I was a receipent of that generosity today! I had posted that I didn't have enough fabric and a wonderful lady on this forum sent me a yard of coordinating fabric.
I won't mention her name because I don't want to embarrass her but if you're reading this...............Thank you again!

You are all my rays of sunshine. My work is going steadily downhill, I dont even know where or if I will have a job, and when I log on and see all f the beautiful quilts, and the special thoughts and feelings behind them, it makes me so happy.

They are loving and caring people here no matter what thoughts they have there are people here to help in any way they can, that is why I love coming here and just see what is made or read what they say . you can come in and just read about what is said some times I need to relax to get way from the hum-drum, it helps me when I need a lift, or just laugh with them.Love you all and God Bless everyone..

Yes, quilters express their love in their quilts. Our quilts are one way to show others we love and care about them.

I'm w/you emerald46 - in only about a weeks times, I've found more love & caring, thoughtful people than many groups I've been in (outside of church I have to say).

This site is a true blessing for me - living alone I'm eager to see new posts every day & happy w/the Q Msg. Board arrives in my email box - YIPPEE :lol: :lol: :lol:

You said it!! I love looking at all the quilts, and hurt when others hurt, and laugh when others laugh, and learn a lot from everyone.

I love this site also. just cant do anything if I dont get to see all that is going on. Been a lurker for over a year ,but still love every moment of this site. Have some cries an laughs. Wonderful Joyce

I am like everyone else here - love this place!! Have to be here every day, love reading about everyone's joys and sorrows. Deep down we are all alike and it is nice to read about everyone else and realize we are all brothers and sisters alike.
I don't join in very ofter but love to be here.

I feel the same way, I can't imagine starting my day without checking on my "quilting family"! So much inspiration, help, and just plain love and friendship! I am so glad I found this group of wonderful people!
