some fun mug rugs!!

That fish is especially creative, but the rest are wonderful too. I think the starfish looks fairly realistic.

thank you! the fish was fun to 'engineer' and i wasn't sure whether or not it was going to work. i'm pleased that it did!

the other ones i made for the swap were lunch (pizza), snack (cake and cookies) and dinner (fried chicken, mashed potato and green beans). i was hungry when i was done! cindy-- i can easily do the star fish and seahorse and octopus, but i'd have to start new on the fish! i made a different, flat fish for lynnie25, so i had fish on the brain, i guess.

I love them, absolutely love them all. The fish is so cute, and the colors cheerful!

Love them all!!! I'm currently working on 8 mug rugs for an exchange with my online quilting group. Yours are sooo adorable!!

I love them all, but especially the breakfast plate with the fabric eggs, toast w/ butter pat, and bacon. So creative and original.

Don't go back into the box! You're doing great out of it ...

Just love them all, especially the breakfast one. My husband had a brain surgery to remove a bloodcloth last July and he was 4 days in the icu before the operation. He was not allowed to eat but nevertheless he requested bacon and eggs. The head nurse came with a tray of only liquid food but she had made a drawing of bacon, eggs and toasts. It was really funny. I never thought of making a funny mug rug to boost his moral at that time as the situation was kind of very stressful. He's doing great today thanks to a wonderful team of dedicated doctors and nurses

bourvel-- i'm so glad your husband is doing well now! went through a rough time with my dh so i can truly empathize. if i'd known about it i would have gladly made 'breakfast' for him.:) hugs and hope everything continues getting better and better!

that is really adorbale!!! I would love to make a lot of them for work.. WE are doing this fish thing at work. I know that a lot of them drink coffee!!! What is the size of the fish or fabric that you working with?

thank you. the wrap-around fish was made with scraps that fit the size of the mug. the base is a 9" circle. have fun making them! each one will be different!
